Case Management Support
"We strive to support young people in addressing barriers and assisting them in setting and achieving goals which meet their vocational and career interests".

A wider view of learning, ICAN embraces the uniqueness and individuality of each young person. Flexible Learning Plans reflect this by catering to the needs, interest and aspirations of each individual young person. Whist schools retain primary responsibilty for education and support services, many FLO students are learning in a range of different settings, depending on their needs and interests.

By taking a wider view of learning, many young people are accessinf their learning beyond the school walls. Community partnerships support this innocative approach to learning, which may be delivered in schools; tafe; Registered Training Organisations; youth organisations; community groups; health agencies; or in business and industry workplaces.

Flexible Learning Options
"We will strive to provide success in a program designed and planned with you ".

What is FLO about? Most young poeple successfully stay at school and complete year 12. Some young people struggle with staying on for many differnet resons. For some young people, they dont see school as relevant, or they have relationsip difficulties, or there are health issues that make it difficult for them to learn at school. Flexible Learning Options (FLO) ensure ALL young people have the chance to successfully complete school and get the qualifications they need for a job.
